A major road has been closed in both directions after an accident involving a lorry and two cars.

Emergency services including two fire engines have been called to Jubilee Way in Dover.

The road is shut from the Duke of Yorks roundabout on the A258 to the Eastern Docks roundabout on the A20.

Although the vehicles involved now appear to have been moved, the accident has caused a spillage of traffic trying to find other routes.

A long queue of traffic was seen at Castle Hill Road, heading towards the Port and town.

Motorists heading to the Port of Dover are advised to use the A20.
