A man has been cut free from his car and flown to hospital after a crash involving a truck.
Police, paramedics, firefighters and the air ambulance were called to the A2 Jubilee Way - one of the two routes into Dover Eastern Docks - just before 9am.
The stretch remained shut between the A258 and A20 roundabouts until around 3pm, to allow crash investigators to scour the scene and highways teams to clear a fuel spillage.
Firefighters worked with paramedics to assess the driver of the car before using rescue equipment to free him.
He was then airlifted to a London hospital.
A police spokesman said: “Kent Police were called to the incident at 8.51am which involved two vehicles.
“Two people received injuries and are being treated by ambulance crews."
