Pictures reveal how selfish drivers are parking dangerously as they visit the White Cliffs of Dover.
Police in Dover tweeted these images this afternoon with a plea to motorists to avoid parking along the road at Langdon Cliffs while the National Trust car park is closed.
It comes as people travel to Langdon Cliffs to get their exercise during coronavirus lockdown.
The tweet said: "Although the White Cliffs of Dover remains an open public space to use, the National Trust car park is closed.
"Please do not park along the highway as this is causing traffic build-up and disruption and could result in a serious accident.
"Patrols will be monitoring this area."
The pictures show vehicles parked at both sides of the road in parts.
Sergeant Ben Norbury of the Dover Community Safety Unit said: "Safety concerns were raised with Kent Police at the weekend due to the number of cars being parked on the roadside in the Langdon Cliffs area.
"We are working with the National Trust to identify a solution to this issue and will have officers patrolling the area this weekend to ensure public safety.
"Motorists are advised to park responsibly at all times to ensure they do not put themselves or other road users at risk of serious injury or worse.’
