Man charged after alleged threats to shop worker in Charlton Green Dover

A man has been charged with multiple offences following alleged aggressive behaviour towards a shop worker.

Kent Police were called on Friday, January 15, after a suspected shoplifter reportedly threatened a member of staff outside a store in Charlton Green, Dover.

Following an investigation by Dover's Victim Based Crime Team, Jason Cox was arrested this Wednesday.

Cox, 48, of Park Street, Dover, has since been charged with assault, three counts of shoplifting in the town between January 13 and February 11 and possession of heroin and cannabis.

He was due to appear before Medway Magistrates' Court today (Friday).
