A man has been arrested after eight cars were vandalised in a street in just 10 minutes.

The 43-year-old, from Dover, was taken into custody by police on suspicion of criminal damage.

Police say he remains in custody and inquiries are ongoing.

The vandalism was at the town's Primrose Road between 11.30am and 11.40am on Tuesday, December 13.

Police said it is believed the damage had been caused with a knife.
