POLICE say they are concerned for the welfare of an 18-year-old man after some of his belongings were found on the cliff tops near Dover.

Coastguards discovered a bag belonging to Adeel Javaid, of Prior Avenue, Sutton, Surrey, near their headquarters at Langdon Cliffs on Monday night and alerted police.

An extensive search is being carried out, including use of the Coastguard aircraft.
