Stunning images of a grand estate once owned by a prime minister have surfaced – as it goes on the market for £10.5 million.

Waldershare Park near Dover – home of Lord Fredrick North in the 18th century – spans across 127 acres of fields and woodlands.

Built in The Georgian era, the six-bedroom farmhouse – complete with swimming pool – is the jewel in the estate’s crown.

The historic park also boast a brick stable yard which has been converted into homes alongside a former indoor riding school.

To the south of the main house is a collection of “characterful” cottages, and to the west is a former village hall which estate agents Strutt and Parker claim has potential as a home or a holiday let.

Estate agents said: “Now offered for sale by the 10th Earl Guilford, the property offers a diverse rural estate with good let property income in an accessible but rural east Kent location.

“At the very heart of the estate is the vendors’ former family home, comprising a Grade II listed Georgian farmhouse surrounded by mature parkland and gardens.

“It comes with a Grade II listed walled garden, two ancillary cottages, and further outbuildings including former village hall, engine shed and Grade II listed granary.”
