Traffic towards the Port of Dover was delayed this morning after a crash involving a lorry and a car.

It happened at the York Street roundabout at about 9am.

Police were on the scene and no injuries have been reported.

A spokesman for Kent Police said: "There was a minor collision between a lorry and car at one of the roundabouts. It caused a temporary blockage to traffic heading to the Port of Dover but was cleared up in just over half an hour."

Motorists reported that no traffic was able to get up towards the sports centre - but this has now cleared.
