Crews were called to tackle a fire which spanned across five acres.

Fields the size of two-and-a-half football pitches were alight in Sea View Road in St Margaret's at Cliffe.

Crews were called at 4.21pm and used a hose reel jet to extinguish the flames. They tackled the blaze for an hour.

Two fire engines were called to the scene.

It's not sure how the fire started but it's not being treated as suspicious.
