Emergency services aid woman who collapsed in Priory Street, Dover

Emergency services blocked Priory Street on Monday afternoon after a woman collapsed, suffering from a fit.

The incident happened around 1.24pm where the woman, believed to be in her 40s, was treated at the scene.

She was then transported to the William Harvey Hospital in Ashford for further checks.

Stagecoach South East tweeted shortly afterwards, claiming it "couldn't stop" due to the emergency vehicles blocking the road.

The tweet said: "Currently we are experiencing problems in Priory Street due to a police incident. Buses are unable to stop."

Two ambulance cars and one ambulance were in attendance.
