Face of racist park attack suspect

POLICE have released this image of a man wanted in connection with a racially-motivated assault in a park in a Kent town.

A 33-year-old British man of Asian appearance was attacked and had racial abuse shouted at him in Pencester Gardens, Dover.

The victim was pushed into the River Dour during the assault.

The offender, who spoke with a local accent, is described as white, aged in his mid 20s, around 6ft tall and of medium build. He had short, dark-blonde hair and was clean shaven.

He was wearing a white sweatshirt and a white t-shirt with a red pattern on it.

Anyone with information about this incident, which happened at around 3.15pm on Sunday, June 10, is asked to contact police on 01304 240055 or Kent Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
