P&O Ferries hit by delays of up to two hours out of Dover as weather conditions create backlogs

Ferries from Kent face delays of up to two hours as rain and strong winds lash the county.
P&O Ferries is reporting waits of around two hours, due to "operational difficulties and berthing delays".
They are advising travellers to check in as normal.
On DFDS Seaways, passengers are seeing delays of around 45 minutues. This is said to be due to the weather conditions.
And on My Ferry Link, those wanting to cross between Dover and Calais should expect their journey to be hit with delays of around half an hour.
There are 14 flood alerts affecting the county this evening, with Met Office experts predicting showers into tonight, particularly affecting the coast.
There is also expected to be thundery showers, with temperatures plummeting to 7C.
