Two migrants have reportedly been killed in a lorry blaze near Dunkirk

Two migrants have reportedly been killed in a lorry blaze at Dunkirk.

According to the local French news paper La Voix Du Nord, the lorry was parked at the Loon-Plage terminal waiting to board a ferry to Dover when there was an explosion in the trailer.

It is believed it was travelling from Poland to England carrying flammable materials.

Firefighters were called to the blaze at 7.30pm last night and after the flames had been extinguished they found the two burnt bodies.

The cause of the fire is not yet known.
