Firefighters make scene of crash safe in St Radigund's Road following car crash

A man was taken to hospital with an injury to his leg this morning after a two car collision in St Radigund's Road.

The incident happened at 12.15am with both fire crews and Kent Police attending the scene.

Fire crews spent half an hour ensuring the scene was safe and cleaning up fuel that had spilled from one of the vehicles.

A Kent Fire and Rescue spokesman said: "We made the scene safe and there was fuel leaking down the road following the accident.

"There was no one trapped in their cars."

The spokesman confirmed that the front end of both cars were damaged.

The road was clear by 2am.
