Police who have arrested a man at Hawkinge under the Terrorism Act, are searching a kebab shop at Dover.

Forensic officers have been at the Dolphin Fish and Kebab shop in High Street for several hours today.

Police confirmed that the search was connected with the Hawkinge arrest, but no other details have been released.

A man remains in custody after officers swooped on him as he drove along Spitfire Way towards Folkestone shortly after 8am on Monday.
