Robin, Badger and Sausage, the final three of 12 celebrities, competed for the number one spot, singing in front of judges and a socially distanced audience.

First to be eliminated was Robin, who was revealed to be Aston Merrigold of boy band JLS.

The runner-up was Badger, aka American singer-songwriter Ne-Yo, with Sausage declared the winner after her performances of I Want To Dance With Somebody by Whitney Houston and Rise Up by Andra Day.

In the days leading up to the final, it was widely speculated that Sausage was either actress and singer Sheridan Smith or TV personality Stacey Soloman.

When unmasked, she turned out to be Brit Award-winning singer Joss, who is heavily pregnant.

Throughout the series, clues were given about the identity of those behind the masks.

One for Sausage had Dover sole on a chip shop menu, alluding to her Dover roots.

Joss was born at Buckland Hospital and lived in Albert Road, Dover. She spent the first eight years of her life in the town and went to St Mary’s Primary School.

Asked why she opted to wear the Sausage costume, she replied: "Who doesn't love sausage and chips?"

"Life can be too serious - we should just dress up in chips and sausage and have a sing-song," she added.

"This has been the funniest, most hilarious job I have ever had. I've laughed so much. I feel like I've won the world."
