Mercury publisher the KM Group has been chosen as the Port of Dover Community Regatta’s media sponsor.
Dover’s top event takes place on the seafront on July 26, and the KM Group was asked to be media sponsor by the organisers.
The event will be publicised in both editions of the Mercury, in What’s On - the leisure publication which appears with all KM Group paid-for papers - in Kent Online and via the kmfm radion station. The KM Group will also produce a page programme for the event.
The event’s main organiser is Dover Harbour Board, whose chief executive, Tim Waggott said: “The Port of Dover Community Regatta is delighted to welcome the Mercury as its media partner for this year’s event on July 26.
"By working together, we will be promoting one of the community’s biggest events of the year, to reach as many people as possible and encouraging them to attend what promises to be fantastic family day.
”After a successful launch last year, we look forward to staging a bigger, more vibrant event this year."

Mercury editor Graham Smith said: “Dover Community Regatta is Dover’s top event and we are delighted to have been asked to be its media sponsor.
“The KM Group offers an unbeatable media package, and we look forward to working with the regatta organisers. It’s going to be a great day.”
The regatta is free, and will include a vintage car rally and an aerobatic display.
Money raised will go to the Cinque Port Pirates (CPP), which is a club that involves everyone and anyone by allowing cheap memberships for weekly sailing lessons and to experience a whole new social aspect.
Chief executive of the Dover District Council, Nadeem Aziz, said: “We are looking forward to another successful event on Dover seafront.
“Incorporating the Community Safety Day within the port regatta is a great way to create a fun day out for the whole family, and to show the community how the partnership continues to work to keep our district a safe place to live, work and visit.
