A MAN has been charged with murder following the discovery of a body at an address in Cherry Tree Avenue at Dover. The victim, 43-year-old Gilbert McCullum, suffered multiple injuries.

John Regan, 43, of High Street, Dover, has appeared before Folkestone magistrates accusing of murdering Mr McCullum. He was remanded in custody.

An inquest into Mr McCullum's death will be opened by coroner Rachel Redman at Ashford Magistrates' Court on Thursday.
