Two men have been rescued after being spotted in a dinghy off the Kent coast.
The suspected migrants got into difficulty in the Dover Strait in the early hours.
Dover Coastguard was called at 1am, and a search by both Dover and Dungeness lifeboats took place.
At 3.30am, an incoming ferry noticed the dinghy a mile from the Port of Dover, reportedly after spotting light from a mobile phone.
The two men were then taken onto the Dover lifeboat and brought to the shore.
They were checked over by ambulance crews.
