Coastguard vessels from Folkestone and Landon Battery were sent out to sea after a dive vessel sounded a mayday call at around 9.45am.

The search and rescue helicopter was also sent out from Lydd to the scene around six nautical miles from the coast.

They escorted the dive ship back to port where police and ambulance services were waiting for them.
