A MAN and a woman have appeared in court charged with the murder of a 22-year-old man in Kent.

Christopher Graham, 26, of Noah's Ark Road, Dover, and Philippa Hart, 22, of Bournemouth Road, Folkestone, appeared before magistrates in Canterbury on Friday accused of the murder of David Redman.

Mr Redman, of London Road, Dover, was last seen walking towards Marine Parade in the town on Saturday, March 10. He has never been found.

Flanked by police officers, Graham and Hart appeared separately and spoke only to confirm their names and addresses.

The pair were remanded in custody and the case transferred to Maidstone Crown Court.

A preliminary hearing is scheduled for September 21.
