Patient collapses and needs resuscitation at Dover Leisure Centre, Townwall Street

Ambulance crews were called after someone collapsed in a sports centre.
The person, who was reportedly not breathing, was revived and taken to hospital.
It happened at Dover Leisure Centre in Townwall Street at about 9.45am today.
South East Coast Ambulance Service spokesman Richard Airey said: “We received reports that a person collapsed inside the building.
“CPR was carried out before we arrived as the patient was reportedly not breathing.
“We continued to resuscitate them and they were revived.
“The person was taken to hospital, still in a serious condition.”
Two ambulances and two paramedic cars were called out and the victim was rushed to the William Harvey Hospital in Ashford.
