A pedestrian has been injured in a collision.

It happened on the A258 Dover to Deal road near Martin Mill just before midday and the victim was taken to hospital.

A Kent Police spokesman said: "We were called to a report of a collision involving a pedestrian and a vehicle at around 11.50am.

"Officers attended the scene on the A258 where a man had sustained injuries and was taken to a local hospital."

Delays were also reported in the area.
