Police search after Eythorne jewellery theft

Police are appealing for information after a large amount of jewellery was stolen during a break-in.

A number of items of gold jewellery were reported stolen after the burglary in Eythorn on Wednesday.

The stolen goods, which include a gold pocket watch and a necklace, were stolen following a messy search of the house.

The crime took place at a property in Wigmore Lane between 1pm and 8pm.

Detectives investigating the burglary are asking anyone who saw anything suspicious in the area or has information about the incident to contact them.
