A David Bowie tribute night takes place just before the 50th anniversary of Hunky Dory.
Rebel Rebel, a six-piece band, are at The Booking Hall in Elizabeth Street, Dover, tomorrow (Friday) from 7pm.
The show will pay homage all eras of the legendary singer's back catalogue such as the Thin White Duke period of the mid-Seventies, with the album Station to Station, and his New Romantic phase in the Eighties. It will therefore feature both his classic and lesser known songs.
This show is seven days before the exact 50th anniversary of the release of Bowie's fourth studio album, Hunky Dory, on December 17, 1971.
That includes some of his most famous songs, such as Life on Mars and Changes, and paved for the way for the album that earned him international fame, The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars.
Bowie lived in Maidstone in the early 1960s and next January 10 is the sixth anniversary of his death from cancer, aged 69.
Tickers fro Friday's show cost at least £12 ad can be bought via the website thebookinghall.com
