Long delays are being reported at Dover as heightened French border security checks lead to tailbacks.

The A20 east-bound is blocked, leading to queueing traffic just before the A20 near the Limekiln roundabout.

Congestion on the A20 stretches back to the B2011 for the Court Wood Interchange.

Meanwhile, there are possible delays at check-in on P&O Ferries and DFDS Seaways at Dover due to the enhanced security checks at passport control.

Passengers are advised to leave additional time before the sailing.

Those heading to France are also being delayed on the trains.

There are cancellations on Eurostar from St Pancras, Ebbsfleet and Ashford International due to a fire near Paris Gare du Nord last night.
