Empty shop in Biggin Street taped off by Kent Police for safety reasons

An area of Biggin Street in Dover has been taped off to the public after masonry was seen falling from the building.

Police taped off the area today (Thursday) where the former A Simmonds Jewellers used to be next to Timpson.

The shop is now empty.

A spokesman for Kent Police said: "Police tape has been put in place in Biggin Street, for safety reasons, as it was reported by CCTV operators that masonry had been seen falling from a building."
