Stabbing in Biggin Street, Dover fracas prompts police probe

Police have launched an investigation after a man was reportedly stabbed and two others injured in a town centre.

Emergency services were called to Biggin Street in Dover at 9am on Saturday to a disturbance involving a group of people known to each other.

A man was reportedly stabbed at 9am on July 27 in Biggin Street, Dover

Once police arrived, the people dispersed, and it was reported that one man had been assaulted and had received a minor injury.

It was later revealed a second man who had allegedly been assaulted during the incident had sustained injuries consistent with stab wounds from a small bladed instrument.

He was taken to a local hospital and discharged the same day.

Another reported fracas is said to unfolded in the High Street at around 5.50pm that evening.

Officers are treating the incidents as linked with witnesses urged to come forward.

A police spokesman said: “Investigations are ongoing and anyone with information that could assist officers’ enquiries, such as mobile footage or CCTV, is urged to call 01843 222289 quoting 46/124728/24.
