A three-vehicle crash brought traffic on a key route in Kent to a standstill this evening.

The collision on the A2 eastbound happened between the A256 and A258 just before 4pm near Guston, Dover.

Police, paramedics and recovery teams were called to the scene.

The road was reopened at 5.30pm and the vehicles have now been removed.

It is not thought anyone was seriously injured.
