Two insights into Dover 40 years apart are being be shown in this year's Dover Film Festival.
The two movies show events in the town last year and in the late Seventies.
The production 1977 Dover Film, directed by the late Ray Warner, shows the building of the Hoverport in the Western Docks and the hovercraft using the Eastern Docks in the meantime.
In addition there is film of the Queen visiting the town during this, her Silver Jubilee year, and local street parties to celebrate.
One piece of footage shows Her Majesty inspecting a parade of soldiers.
Dover once had the Connaught Barracks at Burgoyne Heights and Old Park Barracks in Whitfield.
Jubilee Way was obviously named to mark the Queen's then 25th year on the throne and there is film of the Dover MP of the day, Peter Rees, opening it.
Meanwhile 2017 Dover Film, by festival organiser Mike McFarnell, shows events such as last year's Boxing Day Dip and the Dover Music Festival in August.
The festival continues the theme of showing events 40 years apart as last year's had film from 1976 and 2016.
