A window has been smashed and a bench damaged in an attack on Kearsney Abbey.

Dover resident Vince Capon posted a picture on Facebook this morning.

It shows the window smashed at the cafe and other pictures show the damage to a bench.

An A-shape bench has been turned over and smashed in the attack on one of Dover's beauty spots, Kearsney Abbey

Kearsney Abbey is among Dover's finest areas and considered a beauty spot by the many families and tourists who visit it.
