By-election at St Margaret's-at-Cliffe following retirement of Dover District Council leader Paul Watkins

Voters will be able to choose who replaces former council leader Paul Watkins on his ward today.
A by-election takes place at St Margaret’s-at-Cliffe with polling stations opening at 7am.

There are two candidates, fellow Conservative Peter Jull and Labour’s Charles Woodgate.

A by-election for the Dover district St Margaret's ward today

Mr Watkins retired from Dover District Council in September and was replaced as council leader by Tory Cllr Keith Morris.

Polls close at 10pm.
