DETECTIVES would like to hear from anyone who may have seen or spoken to a 28-year-old man found dead on a beach in Kent.

The body of Shahid Mahmood Ahmed was discovered at St Margaret’s Bay near Dover, on Sunday, January 15. He was last seen alive in Sheffield on December 29 last year.

Police spokesman Jon Green said: "Anyone who may have seen Mr Ahmed, or knows of his whereabouts between these dates, is asked to contact Det Insp Ken Ingram on 01303 850055 or email: 8233@kent.pnn.police.uk

A poster has also been circulated in Kent and Sheffield appealing for information.
