A man has been charged with a burglary in which clothing and a scooter were stolen.

It happened at a house in Durban Crescent, Dover, between Friday, November 17, and last Saturday.

Alexandru Olteanu , 19, of no fixed address, appeared before Medway magistrates via virtual court yesterday.

Olteanu had been arrested on Saturday and subsequently charged with burglary.

He was remanded in custody to appear at Margate Magistrates’ Court on Thursday.
