People are being given the chance to try out a range of arts and crafts activities at an open day in Dover on Saturday.
Organised by the White Cliffs Creatives' Guild, the Chill Out Day takes place from 10.30am to 3.30pm at the Charlton Arts Centre above the Charlton Shopping Centre in High Street.
Activities on offer will include silk painting and jewellery making. Visitors will also be able to have a professional portrait taken in photographer Terry Salter's mobile photography studio and learn about photographic lighting.
Local author Claire Danstead will lead a visualisation workshop to increase people's creativity from 11am until noon.
Children's craft activity sessions and face painting will be available throughout the day, with other activities including printmaking demonstrations by artist Alan Davis, manicure and foot massage, drawing taster sessions and a chance to view the current exhibition in the gallery.
Saturday is also the last chance for artists to hand in work for Passion, the first open exhibition of the year at the Arts Centre, opening on Wednesday February 4.
Visitors can create personalised Valentine messages for display next door to Bears cafe in the shopping centre on the ground floor.
