Astor College for the Arts has been awarded Artsmark Gold for the third time.
The award, which has three levels with gold being the top, is run by the Arts Council of Great Britain.
It is given to schools that have demonstrated through documentation and inspection that they have met rigorous standards in the provision of both the visual and the performing arts.
“Astor has a long tradition in the arts and it is proud that this has again been recognised by an external national institution,” said assistant principal John Horne.
“We would like to congratulate all the students who have worked so hard and to such high standards over many years.”
