A motorcyclist was taken to hospital with serious head injuries after a crash involving a security van.

It happened on London Road, Kearsney, near Dover between the junction with Whitfield Hill and the Alkham Valley Road.

Police cordoned off the road and long queues of traffic built up as paramedics assessed the man's condition.

The air ambulance was called to take him to hospital in London - but he was said to be seriously injured.
