Police are trying to identify the body of a man recovered from the rocks at Fan Bay, between Dover and St Margaret's on Tuesday.

He was believed to be in his 20s or 30s, but no other details have been revealed.

Dover lifeboat crew were called out at 12.45pm to help recover the partly-clothed body.

Coxswain Stuart Richardson and five crew members used their inflatable Y boat to get inshore, working against an incoming tide.
