An award-winning microbrewery - which was Britain's first micro-cider house - is closing its doors.
The Thirsty Scarecrow in Dover has announced on its social media pages that it will be closing this weekend.
The message to customers reads: "Last orders.
"To all our loyal customers.
"It is with great sadness that we have decided to close the pub early.
"Our last day of trade will be September 24, 2022.
"We want to say thank you for all the support over the last seven years of trading.
"We have thoroughly enjoyed our time getting to know you all.
"Much Love, Kieran."
Punters have expressed their sadness at the closure.
One said: "A big loss to Dover. Many thanks for all the great memories and wishing you both the best in your new venture."
Another said: "I'm glad I had a chance to visit you earlier this year.
"You and your partner are lovely human beings, and I found the regulars at your pub to be delightful. Best of luck to you in the future!"
The pub opened in 2015, replacing a cafe in High Street.
Run by stylist Katy Tatham and Kieran Redmond, an appointment-only hair salon was also found in a rear room.
Its name was derived from the number of female punters who'd walk in saying they "looked like a scarecrow".
It was Britain's first micro-cider house and was awarded the title of best cider provider in the Dover district in 2017.
