Two brothers who were arrested in Dover last year have been jailed after admitting to conspiring to attend a terrorist training camp in Syria.
Hamza Nawaz, 24, and his 30-year-old brother Mohommod Hassin Nawaz were searched after arriving at the town's port on a ferry from Calais in September last year.
The pair, who are from Stratford in east London, have been locked up for a total of seven-and-a-half years.
Detective Chief Superintendent Terri Nicholson from counter-terrorism command said: "By travelling they put themselves at incredible risk and it's outside the control of not only their families but themselves frequently."
