Two burglars barged into a man's home before threatening and attacking him.
The pair forced their way into the property in Tower Hill, Dover, after the man, aged in his 30s, answered his front door.
They then assaulted him and threatened him with further violence, before forcing him to hand over "a significant quantity" of cash.
The suspects then fled with the money and other valuable items including a laptop and mobile phone.
Police have now issued e-fits of the men responsible for the raid, which happened at 10.30pm last Thursday.
Both men are white, of stocky build and between 5ft 10in and 6ft.
One had dark hair, was in his mid to late 30s and was wearing a black body warmer and tracksuit bottoms.
The other was wearing a puffer jacket with grey sleeves and tracksuit bottoms.
