Firefighters were called to a car alight in the middle of a field last night on Poulton Close, Dover.

Kent Fire and Rescue received the call at 7.52pm last night.

Dover fire crews put out the Renault Megan which was ablaze.

Watch manager Paul Mellett said: "We were on the scene and also requested the police as it was a suspected deliberate ignition.

"We were there till 8.11pm and used a hose reel from the fire engine to put it out."
