Police and paramedics were called after a suspected crash between a car and a lorry at the Whitfield roundabout this morning (Saturday, August 13).

They were called to the roundabout off the A2 shortly before 8am, where one lane was reported to be blocked after the incident.

Passing motorists said traffic is moving slowly in the area, but all exits of the roundabout were still open.

No one was reported hurt in the accident, and police left the scene shortly before 10am this morning.
