This is the shocking scene of a car left upside down on the pavement after a crash on a busy main road.
It happened between two vehicles in Folkestone Road, Dover shortly before midday on Friday (August 30).
Resident Louise Dyson told KentOnline how she heard the din of the collision from her flat directly above the street.
She said: “I was cleaning and I heard a bang.
“Two seconds later I heard another massive crashing sound.
“My cat came flying out of the living room so I went to the window and saw the car on its roof.
“Then I rang to get my phone to call the emergency services.”
The accident happened near the junction with Malvern Road.
A police spokesman said: “Kent Police was called to a report of a two-car collision in Folkestone Road, Dover at 11.50am on Friday.
“Officers attended along with South East Coast Ambulance Service and Kent Fire and Rescue Service.”
There had been another dramatic accident on Folkestone Road this year when a car ended up rolled on its side in February.
It was undrivable and could not even be pushed and steered so four men had to repeatedly shove it off the road.
