A car that had smashed into the wall leaked fuel and damaged a road sign last night (Sunday).

Police were called to Frith Road in Dover at 8pm and South East Coast Ambulance service tended to the driver and a passenger, both of whom were taken to hospital.

A police spokesman said: "The car was recovered by 10pm but it was not blocking the road."
