Police have released images of a man after a serious assault in a town centre sparked an attempted murder probe.
Officers were called to Dover High Street shortly before midnight on Monday where a man in his 30s was found with head injuries.
He was taken to a London hospital where he remains in a serious condition.
A 32-year-old man from Ramsgate was arrested on Tuesday on suspicion of attempted murder.
He has been released on bail until September 19 while inquiries into the assault continue.
Officers have released images of a man they would like to speak to as he may have information that could assist the investigation.
Detective Chief Inspector Stefanie Earl said: “We are keen to speak to anyone who was in the area.
“We understand from enquiries that there was passing traffic around the time of the assault so we are asking for any witnesses who have yet to speak to an officer, to contact us.
“People who recognise the man pictured, or have private CCTV or dashcam footage which was taken in the High Street area on Monday evening, are urged to contact Kent Police.”
