French port workers have suspended their strike action.
Ferry services between Dover and Calais have been disrupted all day - and Operation Stack has been in place on the M20 - because of industrial action by port control staff at Calais.
But the strike was suspended this afternoon, and ships are due to start sailing again.
Police say phase two of Operation Stack has been removed, and phase one will remain in place until the queue of freight traffic is cleared.
French port control officers are due to meet tomorrow morning (Thursday) to decide if strike action will be continued tomorrow afternoon. If the strike action is resumed, ferry sailings will again be disrupted, and phases one and two of Operation Stack will be reintroduced.
