KENT Police say they are concerned for the welfare of a 44-year-old man who has not been seen for more than a week.

Mark Egan was last seen at around 6pm on December 19 when he left his home in Hobart Crescent, Dover, to go to London where he worked as a painter and decorator.

He did not arrive and subsequent enquiries have revealed that, although he told his partner he was going to work on December 17 and 18, he didn’t arrive then either.

He is believed to be in possession of some prescribed medicines and may be in a Skoda Octavia, registration number LX 53 FCJ.

Mr Egan is described as being 6ft 4ins tall, of slim build with receding dark, brown hair. He was last seen wearing his work sweatshirt and jeans.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the police on 01304 240055.
