Drivers are being diverted after a serious crash on A258.
Emergency services were called at 12.09pm after a crash involving four vehicles.
The incident happened near the junction with Queens Rise in Ringwould.
A man and a woman were assessed and treated by paramedics before being taken to William Harvey Hospital.
Stagecoach has tweeted to say the 80/81 and 90 are unable to run along the road as it has been closed off.
It said: "There is a possibility that the road may be closed for quite some considerable time."
Buses are being diverted via Sandwich and the A256.
Work is ongoing to clear the road.
