A suspected dangerous driver is to appear in court in connection with a fatal collision in Dover.
Two people were arrested after an incident in Frith Road last year where a man in his 50s died.
The collision involved a car and a pedestrian and took place during the early evening of Saturday November 9.
A 28-year-old man of no fixed address and a 40-year-old woman from Dover have been served a postal requisition to attend Folkestone Magistrates’ Court on July 29.
The man will face several dangerous driving charges, including causing death by dangerous driving, while disqualified and uninsured and two counts of driving over the prescribed drug limit.
He also stands accused of perverting the course of justice and possessing an offensive weapon in the form of a knuckleduster.
The woman will face charges of possession of cannabis and permitting the use of a vehicle without insurance.
A 30-year-old woman who was arrested after the collision, has been released without charge.
